Southwestern Indiana Builders Association
What We Do

SIBA works to raise and maintain quality standards, ensure ethical building practices, and strengthen positive relationships between builders and the consumers they serve.  We achieve this by focusing on the following activities.

  1. Bring the home builders of Vanderburgh, Posey and Warrick counties together for the betterment of the industry through cooperation.

  2. Instill among those in the home building industry a deep appreciation for their responsibility to serve the public

  3. Strive to constantly improve home building techniques and practices.

  4. Promote and protect home ownership among all people.

  5. Cooperate with trade associations in matters relating to advancing the home building industry.

  6. Work to standardize building codes throughout the nation.

  7. Promote and enforce a code of ethics to which all SIBA members must adhere.

  8. Collaborate with distributors and manufacturers of building materials and equipment to ensure that consumers can receive maximum quality.

  9. Develop publications as necessary to disseminate information of value to both SIBA members and the public.

  10. Serve, advance and protect the welfare of the home building industry so that safe, affordable housing can be made available to all persons.
